《盧仝》（公元795年？~835年）唐代詩人 号は「玉川子」。《走筆謝孟諌講寄新茶》詩の中の“天子須嘗陽羨茶,百草不敢先開花”は、西晋文学家張戴の《登成都白兎楼詩》“芳茶冠六清,溢味播九区″に相応している。以下「七椀の茶」。（参考文献：郭孟良書、中国茶史。岡倉天心、茶の本）
一椀喉吻潤,両椀破孤悶。一椀で我が唇と喉を麗し、二椀で我が孤悶を破る。The first cup moistens my lips and throat, the second cup breaks my loneliness,
三椀搜枯腸，惟有文字五千卷。三椀で枯腸を探れば、そこにはただ５千巻の文字を見出すのみ。the third cups searches my barren entrail but to find therein some five thousand volumes of odd ideographs.
四椀發輕汗，平生不平事，盡向毛孔散。四椀で僅かに汗を発し、平生不平事が尽く我が毛孔から散ず。The fourth cup raises a slight perspirations, – – all the wrong of life passes away through my pores.
五椀肌骨清,六椀通仙靈。五椀で肌骨清らかに、六椀にして仙靈に通じる。At the fifth cup I am purified ; the sixth cup calls to me realms of immortals.
七椀吃不得，唯覺兩腋習習輕風生。七碗を飲み終わらないうちに、両脇からしゅうしゅうと清風が生ずるのを覚える。The seventh cup —– ah, but I could take no more! I only feel the breath of cool wind that rises in my sleeves.
蓬莱山，在何処？玉川子乗此清風欲帰去。蓬莱山は何処にあるのか、我はこの清風に乗ってふわふわと漂い行こうではないか。Where is Horaisan? Lets me ride on this sweet breeze and waft away thither.
